Courtnee was a past teacher and is now a busy student of optometry. She has been involved with CrossFit for 5 years and counting and performed in various competitions for CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting. Her favorite lifts are the snatch and thruster. Teaching weightlifting and seeing the members grow in skill and strength is what fuels her fire as an athlete and coach.
Chris started CrossFit in 2012 as a way to improve my overall fitness level and do so in an efficient manner. He coaches for one simple reason; to help people improve their physical preparedness but to also help them be the best version of themselves. He loves the energy of the group dynamic and watching our athletes struggle and succeed.
Hi, friends! My name is Bobby and I am a part time coach here at CrossFit Ares. I graduated from UMass Amherst with a double major in English and Theater in 2008, and then received my Masters in Education the following year. I teach English and Theater full time at Central Catholic High School (my alma mater) in Lawrence, MA and I moderate several clubs at the school as well. When I am not training at CFA, my partner and I have an eight year old that gives us a run for our money (…o, and three cats, too). I’m always up for an adventure like Tough Mudder (I completed the Full in the summer of ’18) and I’m down for a chill night of cooking at home with my boys. CrossFit Ares and the people who throw down inside that box have changed my life and have given me another place to call home.
My name is Neal Keegan I grew up in Salem, New Hampshire. I work in the project management side of a construction company working in the hospitals in downtown Boston.
I have competed in boxing wrestling and mixed marital arts for a little over 10 years now. These activities have led me to CrossFit, which has allowed me to rebuild my body after damaging it through sports over the years. Fitness and CrossFit is now one of the biggest parts of my life and will remain that way until I no longer physically can.
